We RASKiers are a social group. Our program includes the popular fall
hikes, frequent pub nights, bike outings, a skating party and other events. Please
check the schedule below for details. The schedule is updated as events
are planned.
Most of our hikes occur in the fall and are mainly to Gatineau Park
destinations.
Unless otherwise specified, we meet at the South-east corner of the Supreme
Court building on Wellington Street at 9:45 AM for a 10 AM car-pool departure.
We do a few day bike trips from late spring to early fall. Most are on
the bike paths in the Ottawa area, although we did two remote-start bike outings
last summer. One was on the bike path from Upper Canada Village going
east, and the other was from Perth to Murphy's point.
Note that we bike fairly leisurely and take time to smell the flowers.
If you're training for the Olympics, there are a number of other bike clubs that
would suit you better.
Pub nights are held at the Fieldhouse Bar and Grill in the RA Centre and
generally start at 7:30 PM.
For details or cancellation notices, check our web site at www.raski.ca or
contact the SNOWPHONE (736-6235) prior to each hike.
