Downhill Program
 The Downhill program consists of day trips,
week-end trips and
week-long trips. Day trip destinations, usually by highway coach,
generally favour ski areas in the Laurentians. Weekend destinations are usually resorts, 4-7 hours
away, in Quebec, New York, and Vermont. Week-long
trips have travelled to destinations in Western Canada, USA, Europe and
Chile.

This
year, the RA Ski Club’s downhill day program consists of:

Our weekly Meet’n Ski
outings to local ski hills.

Two day bus trips to the Laurentians.
·
A three-day, mid-week
get-away to
the Laurentians. Details to
come.
Meet n' Ski
As well as bus trips, RA Ski offers car pool ski trips to local hills. Every
week, we go to a different ski hill on a different day of the week. Skiers meet at the RA Centre
west wing entrance in time to form car pools which depart for the hills at 8:45
AM. The cost for gas is shared, and with our RA Ski discount we have a win win
situation. While weekend trips are great, the mid-week trips are popular
as the hills are never crowded.
Mid-Week Get-Away
Back by popular demand this
year is our mid-week, three-day
“Get Away” for downhillers. Last year stayed at Gray Rocks Inn and skied
at Gray Rocks and Mont Blanc.
