Description: Meet at the parking lot on Bate Island at 9:45 for a 10:00 departure. Bate Island is off the Camplain Bridge about a third of the way across from Island Park Drive. We'll cycle west along the Ottawa River Parkway then South on the Pinecrest Creek Parkway. Just before Woodroffe Ave., we'll hook up to the path that will take us to the Experimental Farm where we will stop for an early picnic lunch in the Arboretum. From here, we'll head back to Bate Is. via Island Park Drive. This is an easy 25 km trip with only a few short hills. Aside from a short ride on Island Park Drive, which has a dedicated bike lane, we'll be on bike paths all the way. Although it's a city route, it is a very pleasant ride consisting of wooded areas, open fields and pretty riverside views. Trip Leader: Doris Dallaire

- Meet 'n'Ski Downhill Trips are car pool trips. We meet at the RA Centre West wing lobby and leave at the time specified. Skiers share the cost of gas.

- Cross-Country Day Trips: We meet in the RA West wing lobby 15 minutes prior to departure, to organize carpools.
After, we often go to a local restaurant, either for lunch or dinner, to socialize. Skiers share the cost of gas.

- Downhill and/or Cross-Country Bus Trips depart from the RA Centre West Parking Lot at the time shown, unless otherwise specified.

- For biking and hiking, meeting places vary.
