Description: postponed due to rain - we'll try next Sunday. Meet at Parking Lot P25 on Bearbrooke road in Blackburn Hamlet at 10AM for a 10:15 departure. We will follow a pleasant bike path to the Ottawa River, then along it to Petrie Island. At Petrie Island, we will picnic for about 1 1/2 hours, enjoying the beach or walking on the many trails through the natural area before biking back on same route to our starting point. There are washrooms on the island; bring a lunch. Total biking distance - about 30km

- Meet 'n'Ski Downhill Trips are car pool trips. We meet at the RA Centre West wing lobby and leave at the time specified. Skiers share the cost of gas.

- Cross-Country Day Trips: We meet in the RA West wing lobby 15 minutes prior to departure, to organize carpools.
After, we often go to a local restaurant, either for lunch or dinner, to socialize. Skiers share the cost of gas.

- Downhill and/or Cross-Country Bus Trips depart from the RA Centre West Parking Lot at the time shown, unless otherwise specified.

- For biking and hiking, meeting places vary.
